The Tire Cologne, held their launch press conference in Cologne this week, one of a series of events to introduce the event, the exhibition halls and the city to potential partners, exhibitors and visitors, which will take place on 29th May – 1st June 2018.
Exciting Selection of Events Planned for TTC
The organisers of the event, Koelnmesse, aim to ensure that the show is not only a success but very different from past tyre events. There will be partnerships with associations and publications that take the subject matter to a wider audience than ever before.
In the Retread and Recycling hall (Hall 9), The Tire Cologne has partnered with Tyre and Rubber Recycling and will be offering an exhibition of the flow of tyres from waste arisings to end of waste, including end products.
Tyre and Rubber Recycling will be hosting a series of seminars with key speakers from across the industry discussing the challenges and opportunities that the sector faces.
Speakers will also give reviews of the new recycling technologies, but this is no show and tell conference, this is about introducing tyre recycling to the tyre industry and helping create a wider understanding of the importance of recycling to manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and ultimately the consumers.
For the first time ever, a major tyre industry exhibition is giving over considerable space and support to ensuring that the recycling and retreading sector is able to take its place in the tyre industry. No longer do we feed off the crumbs, but we are seated at the table and it is up to retreaders and recyclers to take a little time to come and join us in interacting with the tyre manufacturers and importers from all around the world at The Tire.
Tyre and Rubber Recycling will be supporting recycling exhibitors with editorial both before and after the event.
