Autopromotec is due to host of The Future of Tyre Retreading and Recycling Conference in Bologna on Thursday, May 26, 2022
The Tyre Retreading and Recycling Conference 2022 takes place from 3:30pm with presentations from Vittoria Marangoni (Marangoni), Marco Mangialardo (Michelin) and David Stevens (TRIB) discussing the future of retreading in Europe and North America.
This will be followed by a panel on tyre recycling, with a key presentation from Federico Dossena(Ecopneus) on the Italian recycling market. After this, Weibold’s Claus Lamer will be discussing pyrolysis before it will be rounded off by Dario Andreani from Chile who will be highlighting the development of T-Phite – remanufacturing of Lithium batteries through the tyre circular economy.
The afternoon is concluded with the Recircle Awards trophy ceremony – This awards event is now in its second year and even through Covid it has gained traction in the retreading and recycling industries as a sign of recognition of performance and quality. Already even just being nominated for an Award is considered a credit to any company.
The Awards are voted for by the industry and as such reflect the views of the sectors they cover.
This year’s winners will receive their Trophies in a short ceremony held after The Future of Tyre Retreading and Recycling Conference at Autopromotec.
