Valebridge Media Services (VMS), the Crewe, UK and Madrid, Spain-based media services agency, has announced that the Marangoni Group has been named as the Official Trophy Sponsor for the inaugural Recircle Awards 2021, the globally-facing awards event recognising sustainable innovation, production processes, management and services within the tyre retreading and recycling industries.
Trophy Sponsor Announced
In announcing his company’s decision to support the Recircle Awards, Marangoni Group Chairman Vittorio Marangoni commented; “The Recircle Awards is an initiative focused on our core business and is perfectly in line with the values and mission of our group. It is an international project proposed with an innovative formula and with a good mix of online and offline activities and visibility. The active involvement of the entire supply chain is also a positive factor, not only thanks to the nomination and voting mechanism but also due to the presence of various prizes dedicated to all the main market players including the fleets.”
As Trophy Sponsor the Marangoni Group will receive a number of key promotional benefits provided by VMS and the Awards Official Media Partners, Retreading Business and Tyre & Rubber Recycling, the globally recognised business journals for the tyre retreading and recycling sectors. These include video, emailing, website and social media benefits, key coverage in the Post-Awards Supplement to be published by the Media Partners, press release support, and a video podcast on Retreading Business’s popular Retreadcast.
The Awards themselves are stylishly conceived in silver and turquoise giving a light, clear and striking image. Designed in the form of a pentagon, the five sides of the award symbolise the five pillars of the waste hierarchy – prevention, reuse, recycle, recovery and disposal.
“We are delighted that the Marangoni Group have become Trophy Sponsors of the inaugural Recircle Awards,” said David Wilson, Managing Director of Valebridge Media Services. “We are convinced that the support of such a major player within the tyre retreading and recycling industries will make a major contribution to cementing the position of the Recircle Awards as a key event celebrating the role that our sector plays in the Circular Economy.”
“We trust that the Recircle Awards can be an opportunity to let an increasingly wider audience, even outside our sector, know that retreading – thanks to its intrinsic characteristics – is an archetype of a circular green supply chain,” added Vittorio Marangoni. “In particular, we hope that this initiative will bring retreading to the attention of politics and the press in general, as retreading is an existing solution that has already been successfully implemented, with clear environmental, social and economic benefits and which must be adequately supported.”
The winners of the inaugural 2021 Recircle Awards will be announced on March 15, 2021, followed by presentations at leading tyre industry events, both physical and virtual, taking place around the world during the remainder of the year.
