The plant has previously been tested and the product has been shown to be consistent and to a specification that a large tyre manufacturer is happy to have an offtake agreement with Pyro One BV.
The continuous process is claimed to be emissions free and takes mixed tyre shred feedstock supplied by Dutch tyre experts Reedijk Used Tyres B.V, who, according to Grozev, Reedijk subsidiary Kijdeer B.VÂ are shareholders in the Pyro One project.
Grozev explained that as the first tyre shred started arriving in early December, that the plant should be fully operational by February 2021.
