New Tyre Recycling Plant for Hungary

A new tyre recycling plant is to be built at Szolnok, Hungary. The granulate from the plant will be used to produce insulation materials and by using polymers and presses the plant will manufacture moulded tiles and blocks.

Important Step for Hungarian Recycling

The consortium building the plant draws its expertise from different sectors including the Debrecen-based Gumiszerviz Olah Kft.

The first step will see the plant processing around three thousand tonnes in its first year with production expected to begin in April 2017.
There are 65-70 thousand tons of used tyres generated annually in Hungary and just a few of these tyres are recycled in the country by a few small recyclers.
