Grupo Soledad Reaches Out to India

Grupo Soledad participated in an institutional and commercial mission of IVACE in India

This exercise was an interesting business opportunity for Grupo Soledad, as the Indian market is currently in full expansion.

Grupo Soledad, a leading company in the Spanish  tyre market, has been part of an institutional and commercial mission to India organized by IVACE (Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness).

The visit was carried out between March 20 to 25, and the people in charge of representing the company were Salva Pérez, international commercial director of Grupo Soledad and representative of Tallans Navarro, and Miguel Belda, technical manager of Rubber Industrial Verdú.

Caucho Industrial Verdú, is a leading company in the development of solutions for the infrastructure and the railway sector, with projects developed in more than 25 countries.

On the other hand, Tallants Navarro, is dedicated to the manufacture of machinery for the recycling of all types of waste.

Both companies are part of Grupo Soledad, a leader in mobility, sustainability and industrial development solutions.

This has been a great business opportunity, since the Indian market, the second most populous on the planet, currently has interesting growth prospects.

Likewise, exports from the Valencian Community maintain an upward trend, with a rise of 18% in 2022.

It should be noted that those responsible for leading this mission at the institutional level were the Minister of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor, Rafa Climent. Also the general director of Internationalisation, María Dolores Parra.

The main objective of this initiative has been to generate synergies and strengthen ties. The mission has been developed in the cities of New Delhi and Mumbai.

The purpose of this mission is to promote new business contacts for companies in one of the emerging markets that offers many opportunities. The action is multi-sector, as the Indian market offers opportunities mainly for different sectors. The most demanded are: agri-food, chemical, construction and infrastructure, machinery, automotive and water, as well as consumer goods, among others.
