Carlton Forest Gets Fuel Approval

Carlton Forest are taking the next step to developing an IRR pyrolysis project with the oil output has been approved for power generation.

Pyrolysis System Fuel Oil Approved for Power Generation

The last decade was a game-changer in terms of technological advancements for dealing with hard to recycle material and with circular economies and sustainability high on the agenda of businesses across the globe the start of a new decade is the perfect time to review procedures and business practice.

To facilitate independent power generation for business, Carlton Forest Group, invested in not only the technology of a pyrolysis plant but the entire South African company – IRR Manufacturing. Thus, showing the strength of its belief that it had the potential to revolutionise power generation through a cyclical process.

“The belief we had in this system is already being realised ten-fold, and the news that a third party engine manufacturer has approved the oil we generate adds even greater credibility to the massive impact such systems can have,” said Rory Hughes from Carlton Forest Group.

“The quality of the filtration system on our pyrolysis plant technology is such that oil created is of significant quality to support engine manufacturers as they also aim to implement new sustainability goals.”

The system manufactured by IRR allows the processing of end of life materials from which energy and by-products can be generated and can be adapted for other materials.

“This is great news for the future of the industry emphasising the truly circular nature of this technology and the impact it can have across a variety of industries,” said Rory. “The very fact that our oil meets the stringent standards required by engine manufacturers is an incredible development for us and unlocks the potential for more businesses to be able to enjoy the benefits of producing power from waste tyres with ease.”

Carlton Forest Group believes that this technology will revolutionise the way in which end of life tyres are dealt with, and it is proud to demonstrate this, from its own plant technology; highlighting how this can be done responsibly both for the environment, energy generation and waste disposal.
