Tyre recycling in Germany has become a growing concern for the industry, with various initiatives being developed to support and promote tyre recycling, such as ZARE and AZuR.
Germany’s BVSe Establishes a Recycling Association
The latest development comes from the German waste industry association that covers tyre the tyre supply chain, repairs, and retreads and now tyre recycling.
At the BVSe annual general meeting in September 2021, it was decided to establish a Tyre Recycling Association under the BVSe grouping.
This new professional association is represented on the BVSe Committee with a seat and a vote, with Vice President and Chairman of the Association, Bernd Franken committed to the interests of the industry there.

The newly created recycling association board consists of; Chairman and BVSe vice-president: Bernd Franken, and Ecocalor GmbHEstkom GmbH.
