Last September the two companies signed an agreement to deal with waste bicycle tyres. Bicycle tyres are notoriously problematic for ambient shredders as the bead wire tends to wrap around shredder arbors.
In a further development, Bohle will consider how it can use Pyrum’s recovered Carbon Black in the production of new bicycle tyres.
