Tyre & Rubber Recycling Ups Digital Activity

As part of our strategy to upgrade and expand our social media presence Tyre & Rubber Recycling has now developed a presence on three of the most popular social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

At the same time, social media profiles have also been established for our two other UK-based magazine titles, Retreading Business and Commercial Tyre Business and the two titles owned by our Malaysian sister company Valebridge Publications (Asia) Sdn Bd, The Tyreman and Truck & Bus News.

According to Publisher David Wilson, the move is part of a plan to integrate the activities of the individual print magazines with their respective digital versions, e-newsletter activity and a strong presence on the key social media platforms.

Says Wilson; “Publishing is about more than just having a successful print magazine. Nowadays readers are just as likely to access news stories and comment articles on their computer or on their mobile phones. Our aim is to give the readers of Tyre & Rubber Recycling a comprehensive information service, allowing them to use the media they are most comfortable with, whilst also allowing us to be more efficient and successful in reaching our core readers on a worldwide basis.”

Responsible for developing and integrating the digital media activities of all five magazines will be Richard Wilson, who now joins the company on a full-time basis.
